Terms of Service
By using timelock.sh, you agree to the following terms.
Personal Project
timelock.sh is a personal, non-commercial project maintained by a single developer. It is not backed by a company, has no SLA, no support team, and no funding. It may be shut down at any time without notice.
Use at Your Own Risk
timelock.sh is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The service is experimental. Do not rely on timelock.sh as the sole protection for sensitive or high-value data.
No Guarantee of Availability
We make no guarantee that the service will be available, that keys will be released on time, or that the service will continue to operate indefinitely. Key release depends on infrastructure that may fail, be discontinued, or be compromised.
No Liability
In no event shall the operator be liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from the use of this service, including but not limited to: early key disclosure, late key release, data loss, service downtime, or security breaches.
Your Responsibility
- You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of encrypted files.
- You are responsible for verifying that encryption and decryption work correctly before relying on the service.
- Do not use timelock.sh for anything illegal in your jurisdiction.
Privacy
Encryption and decryption happen entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to our servers. We log standard HTTP request metadata (timestamps, IP addresses, requested URLs) but do not log file contents.
Changes
These terms may be updated at any time without notice.
